Fernando Acosta is native to El Paso, TX and is also a proud UTEP alumni. Although his education and training are in the realm of business administration and accounting, he has served in the behavioral health field since 2018. His formal work experience began in 1994 in public accounting where after two years, he chose to focus on one industry. After serving in financial leadership roles in the world of retail, manufacturing, education, and healthcare; he found his true calling. Thus, as of 2009, he has gained crucial experience in dealing with the nuances relating to healthcare finance as well as becoming a good steward in managing resources efficiently and effectively which in turn has enabled those who are in the front lines to provide top quality patient care.
