Director of Military Affairs
For the last 10 years, Donna has served as a military liaison/business developer to active duty service members, veterans, and their families.
She has extensive experience working with mental health clinics, pediatric providers, family practice providers, and case managers at over 20 military installations throughout the country. As a former active duty service member, Donna served at Walter Reed Army Medical Center and Fort Belvoir Army Installation as a medical records specialist and qualified as an M16 Sharpshooter. During her service as a military spouse, she served at the Command and General Staff College in Ft Leavenworth, Kansas as the newsletter coordinator to the Officer Wives Club.
Donna is a Military Homefront/Parent Basics Instructor with NAMI. She received recognition from the Paso Del Norte Health Foundation for her 4 years of participation with a grant called “CATCH” which is a program designed to develop and educate teachers, children, and parents on how to live healthier lifestyles. Donna dedicated 8 years to the Region 19 Education Service Center and served for 4 years as the School Health, Safe and Drug-Free Manager. At Ft Clayton Army Base, Panama, she served as the activities coordinator for the Army Reeder Fitness Center. She was also the fitness director at EP Fitness for 8 years in El Paso, Texas.
Donna has a bachelor’s degree in Health Science and certifications as a Personal Trainer, Fitness Instructor, Sports Nutritionist, and Life Coach.
